MPI releases 2014 on Mobil Apps Usage for Event Planners

Today, 63% of meeting professionals use mobile apps to organize and run their events!

Today, 63% of meeting professionals use mobile apps to organize and run their events! According to the research, the primary reason these planners choose to use an event application is to provide more convenience to attendees, highlighting the app’s easy access to session details and streamlined schedule-building capabilities. The changes in the event experience mean more attendees are searching for a "mobile moment" meaning instantaneous information, feedback and connections. The most important features for a mobile app today are session descriptions, schedule, speaker profiles and connecting with attendees. We are moving quickly to a digital information tool and leaving the paper piles behind. New technologies will bring more capabilities.

Mobile Apps

What kind of mobile apps are you using for your events? What have you tried when you attended an event? What is your favorite feature?
